Artistic Assistant, Instructor
Megan Klamert is a native of Akron, OH who began her training in Vaganova and Balanchine technique at a young age. She attended summer intensives at Chautauqua Institute, Saratoga Springs, Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet, and Indiana University before continuing her training at Indiana University’s Jacobs School of Music. There, she earned a Bachelor of Science and Outside Field (BSOF) degree in Ballet and Kinesiology and a minor in Psychology. She then moved to Hartford, Connecticut to perform professionally and teach. In 2018, she became Ballet Mistress for Ballet Theatre Company located in West Hartford, CT and assisted in producing full-length ballets as well as managing the company's public relations for 3 seasons. Since moving back to Ohio and becoming a staff member at HCB, Megan has been certified in Progressing Ballet Technique and is excited to step into the role of Artistic Assistant for HCB's 8th season.
